Seasonal Clothing Acceptance Guidelines

1. Summer – April, May, June and July
2. Fall – August, September
3. Winter – October, November, December, January
4. Spring – February, March

Merchandise Preparation

1. All clothes must be in excellent condition. Please do not include clothing that has stains, missing buttons, broken zippers or ties, loose hem lines, weak seams, or excessive signs of wear.
2. All clothes should be washed unless they have never been worn before. Please indicate if any of the items are brand new.
3. We reserve the right to refuse any clothing we deem not suitable for resale.
4. Please ensure the styles are trendy, and not older than 4-5 years

Clothing Collection and Drop-off

1. A representative from In and Out Kids Clothing and Consignment will come and pick up the clothing.
2. Clothing may also be dropped off please contact us for drop off instructions
3. Clothing may also be shipped please contact us for shipping instructions

Consignment Terms and Conditions

1. Items will be kept on consignment for a period of 90 days. This period will start from the day the items are displayed on our website.
2. You will be paid 50% of the selling price.
3. A contract will be e-mailed to you and must be completed, signed and returned.
4. Items not sold within the consignment period can be collected from In and Out Kids Clothing and Consignment or shipped back to you at your expense.
5. We do have a “sale” option for 30 days after the 90 day consignment period. The sale price will be reduced by 25% for this period.
6. Unsold items not collected within 30 days will be donated to Victoria Women’s Shelter.
7. If you prefer not to have your items returned they will be donated to the Victoria Women’s Shelter.

Payments

1. Payments will be made by cheque each month on the 20th.
2. At that time you will be paid in full for any items sold up to the 15th of the month.
3. If you prefer you may also use your store credit to purchase clothing from In and Out Kids Clothing and Consignment.

Sometimes we are also able to purchase clothing items right away from those people who do not want to consign.

This depends upon our inventory level for the current season. Please contact us with the gender and size range of your clothing and we will review our inventory and decide whether we are able to purchase your items. The same terms and condition applies to the clothing we purchase right away. The major difference is you get your payment immediately.
